QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Don’t see your question? Call or text us — we’re happy to talk it through.

Do I need a whole new pool if my steps are cracked?

Almost never. Cracked or wobbly steps are a step-and-liner job, not a pool replacement — at a fraction of the cost.

What does the process actually involve?

Five stages: free quote, remove the old steps and excavate, build solid new steps, strip out the old liner, and install a new custom liner. New steps and a brand-new-looking pool in one project.

Why does the liner have to be replaced too?

The liner seals and finishes the steps. Once we’ve excavated and rebuilt the step area, the old liner can’t be patched back over new work — so a new one is part of the job. The upside: your entire pool gets a fresh surface.

Is it worth renovating an older pool?

Usually, yes. If the shell is sound, new steps and a new liner give you years more use for far less than replacing the pool — and it looks new when we’re done.

Can you do this in the off-season, or only summer?
Ask us — we typically schedule renovations for the off season, so you don’t miss any summer swim time. Booking outside peak season often means getting on the calendar sooner.
